    ”In our debrief on Friday night, our team expressed how emotionally moving the day was. The amount of work that got done was amazing. But greater was the camaraderie and love they saw displayed. The snippets of conversation heard...where adults were teaching and pouring life into the younger. How everyone was friendly and kind and joyful...that life was everywhere on the base.     Dr. Eng has built a life—and a medical practice—centered on vision in every sense of the word. As an ophthalmologist, he cares for patients both medically and surgically, treating eye diseases, performing routine exams, and offering procedures such as cataract surgery, blepharoplasty, and LASIK. But for Dr. Eng, it’s about more than restoring sight—it’s about building relationships that last.

      “It’s a great joy to help people improve their eyesight,” he shares. “Over the years, I’ve developed lasting connections with patients that encourage both them and me. That’s something really special.” 

      His passion for people and purpose is also what draws him to support Faith Christian School through Project Faith. “I love Faith Christian School and the impact it has on students—not just academically, but in equipping them to walk with the Lord throughout their lives,” he says. 

      Rooted in his Christian faith, Dr. Eng is guided daily by a verse that shapes both his work and home life: “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31). “That’s a lesson I strive to live by and pass on to my children,” he adds. “We all have different callings and gifts, but above all else, we’re here to glorify God.” 

      At Eye Care & Surgery, that mission continues. The practice is founded on values that align closely with those of Faith Christian School: excellence in work, love for people, and living out the Gospel. These principles guide every patient interaction and decision, making Eye Care & Surgery a place where faith and healing meet.

    100% of your donation goes straight to Project Faith. $0 of your donation will be used to cover credit card transaction fees. This year, all credit card transaction fees for Project Faith sponsorships are being paid for by Cardinal Valley Industrial Supply—an FCS alumni-run local business.

    • What is Project Faith?

      Project Faith is an extraordinary undertaking to serve our community for the past 24 years. For one day, the entire school works at area organizations, lending time and energy to accomplish a multitude of tasks. Last year, nearly 500 students, parents, faculty, and alumni served Camp Bethel by painting, cleaning, landscaping, repairing, and organizing. These are projects the organization simply would not be able to complete due to budget and personnel constraints. 

    • Our Purpose

      We desire that our students understand the importance of honoring God by serving others. Project Faith provides students the opportunity to invest in their community by working for the good of others. In addition, students serve their school by asking for financial support.

    • Project Faith Student Managers

      Sixteen Upper School students have been selected to serve as Project Faith Student Managers. This is a leadership opportunity for Upper School students to serve alongside Project Managers, to guide students and parents at the Project Faith site. In the weeks before Project Faith Day, they perform skits, decorate halls, and visit classrooms to raise excitement for Project Faith. The Student Managers have chosen a fun "Medieval" theme for their efforts this year.
