TRACE PERCELL, '22
Trace graduated this May from Virginia Tech with a degree in Mining Engineering, focusing on mining operations and project management. He will be returning to work for an aggregates and construction material company called Heidelberg Materials after completing a summer internship with them last year and working for them part-time remotely during his senior year of college. He will be working in the Philadelphia metro area as a management trainee, working at four different quarry operations in the region. His main responsibilities will be capital project management, operations improvement, and helping site management with the day-to-day operations of the different quarries he will be working at.

MASON RIDGE, '22
Mason Ridge graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science degree in interdisciplinary studies along with a minor in carpentry. He lives in Lynchburg and works for LG Flint as a construction laborer. When he is not working and learning all about the construction industry, he creates music, goes on camping adventures with his friends, and serves with his local church. CATIE CUNNINGHAM, '21
Catie is in her 3rd year of pharmacy school at Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy, Shenandoah University, where she will earn her doctorate in 3 years. Congratulations to Catie for being chosen as Shenandoah University’s Student Ambassador. One student from each pharmacy school is chosen to represent their school for the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy.

CAMERON ANDREWS, ’17
Cameron has been practicing law in the Lynchburg area for several years. She recently co-founded her own law firm, Summit Law, a boutique civil trial and litigation firm located in Lynchburg and practicing statewide, where she focuses on representing personal injury, wrongful death, and sexual assault victims. Alumni Spotlight: Celebrating Warrior Excellence
ABIGAIL JANEY, ’18
Abigail graduated this past May from Longwood University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Sociology minor. She will continue her education at Longwood’s graduate school to get her master's in mental health counseling so she can become a child counselor. Congratulations Abigail!
MADDY SHREEMAN, ’17
Maddy graduated in May 2021 with a BA in English with Teacher Licensure from Liberty University. She is currently working on her Master's of Education in curriculum and instruction, to be completed this coming December. She taught English 101 at Liberty University this past school year, and in August, she will begin teaching 8th-grade English at Lucy Addison Middle School in Roanoke City. Congratulations Maddy!
JESSIE WHITMORE, ’18
Jessie received her degree in Biomedical Engineering and Mechanics from Virginia Tech this past May. She is working for Rhenus Automotive, a contractor for Mack; she is based in the Salem, VA office of the international firm. Jessie shared, "I am a Progress Engineer and we make Mack Trucks!" Congratulations Jessie!
BRENDAN NEWTON, ’17
Brendan received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Liberty University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. He is currently interning with Branch Builds of Roanoke. Congratulations Brendan!
ADDISON LILLEY, ’18
Addison graduated from Liberty University in May 2021 with a degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. Addison shared, “Last July I moved to Goldsboro, North Carolina, to work as the Next Gen Director at Canvas Church. We launched officially in September. I also started graduate school last August, so I am working full-time and going to school full-time. I am getting my master's degree in School Counseling, and I am taking additional classes to get my licensure. I absolutely LOVE my job, and the Lord has been so faithful this past year.” Congratulations Addison!
ANDREW CAYWOOD, ’18
Andrew received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point this past May. Upon graduation, Andrew was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army and will attend the Field Artillery Basic Officer Leaders Course in Fort Sill, OK. After completing this training, he will join the 3rd Cavalry Regiment at Fort Hood, TX. Congratulations Andrew!
EMILY KAGEY ’18
Emily received a B.S. Ed. in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Spanish this past May from the University of Virginia. In the upcoming year, she will be moving to Raleigh to join the Raleigh Fellows Program at Church of the Apostles. Afterwards, she plans to attend graduate school to earn her master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology. Congratulations Emily!
