Our Project Faith Committee

The Hands And Heart Behind Project Faith

Project Faith wouldn’t be possible without our Project Faith Committee—faithful parent and alumni volunteers who dedicate countless hours to planning, organizing, and guiding each service site. Long before the day arrives, they prepare project lists, gather materials, coordinate with partner organizations, and ensure every detail is ready for students to serve well.

On the day of Project Faith, they are the steady presence on the ground—encouraging students, overseeing every detail of their team’s assignments, and helping turn vision into meaningful impact. Because of their leadership, students step forward with confidence, serve boldly, and experience what it means to honor God by serving others.

Logistics Managers

The Logistics Managers are a behind-the-scenes team that makes Project Faith run smoothly all day. These volunteers are the first to arrive and the last to leave, making sure all paint and supplies are delivered to each zone, and that each team has what they need throughout the day. When work is complete, they gather and organize supplies to be ready for next year.

We are deeply grateful for these servant-leaders who make Project Faith a powerful expression of our mission in action. If you are interested in joining the Project Faith Committee or would like to learn more, contact Shelly Whitaker at swhitaker@fcsva.com.

Our Student Managers

Empowering Students Through Faithful Leadership

Project Faith is strengthened each year by our Student Managers—exceptional student leaders who step forward to support their teams with enthusiasm, maturity, and a heart for service. While adults handle the advance planning, Student Managers focus on leading their peers

Twenty juniors and seniors will serve alongside Project Managers to guide students and parents at the Project Faith site. The Student Managers have chosen a fun Greek and Roman theme!

On the day of Project Faith, these students play a vital role in keeping their teams moving smoothly—answering questions, solving challenges as they arise, and modeling Christ-like leadership in real time. Their presence brings unity to their groups and inspires younger students to serve with confidence and joy.

We are grateful for our Student Managers, whose growing leadership turns Project Faith into more than a day of service—it becomes a meaningful opportunity for students to lead boldly, support one another, and bless our community together.
